New NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits Released

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) released the new NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (PAPL) on Friday, 28 June 2024. These changes will take effect from 1 July 2024.

Key Updates

Here’s a quick overview of the key updates and what they might mean for you:

Increase in Price Caps for Various Services

  • Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
  • Level 1 Support Coordination services
  • Psychologists and Nurses
  • Behaviour support services


Change to Short-Notice Cancellation Policy

  • For services not covered by the DSW Cost Model, short-notice cancellation now needs 2 clear business days.
  • For services provided by a support worker or those under the DSW Cost Model, short-notice cancellation remains at 7 clear business days.


Ceasing of Temporary Transformation Payments

  • Temporary transformation payments (TTP) have been discontinued, effective immediately.
  • For services delivered before 1 July, TTP line items are still available temporarily as Legacy Line Items.


What Does This Mean for Me?

Your NDIS plan will be updated but this only applies to the parts of the plan with supports that have seen an increase. The funding will be indexed on 13 July.
